Danie works in the General Corporate and Venture Capital Team (Transaction Advisory Team) at MCM Law. He has assisted in negotiating transaction documents for various venture capital investments. He has been involved in conducting legal due diligence on target companies across diverse sectors and have assisted venture capital firms and companies at various stages of funding, including Seed-series and Series A, by managing due diligence and negotiating transaction documents. Also, he has experience reviewing various commercial contracts such as business transfer agreements, SAFE agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and employee stock option schemes.

Danie joined MCM law immediately after graduation. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, he gained hands-on experience through diverse internships, ranging from start-ups to established law firms. These roles allowed him to hone his research skills in general corporate law and develop expertise in drafting various agreements.

He holds a BBA LLB from St. Joseph’s College of Law, Bangalore, where he cultivated a deep interest in Corporate and Competition Law. His academic journey also saw him contribute to the legal field through published articles in respected journals. Outside of his professional endeavours, Danie has a keen interest in finance, dedicating time to understanding investment strategies and the dynamics of financial markets. When it comes to leisure, he turns to football. Also, being a Barcelona supporter for the past 14 years, he is used to be being in difficult situations.
