16th October 2025, Bengaluru, India:

Technology-focused law firm Mani Chengappa and Mathur (MCM) today announced that it is adding two new partners, Gautamaditya Sridhara and Aravind Mokkapati, of dispute resolution and corporate law firm GDroit Advocates. The expanded firm will now be known as MCM Law.

This expansion marks a significant milestone for MCM Law, based on the shared ethos of deep legal expertise, collaborative culture, and commitment to client service excellence. It also signals MCM Law’s intent to operate as a professional firm with multi-tiered leadership, clear succession planning, and growth opportunities for like-minded lawyers.

With technology increasingly at the centre of regulatory developments in India, the combined firm will offer clients holistic, end-to-end legal support across corporate and dispute resolution practices.

“I see this expansion as the next phase of the firm’s growth. As founders, my colleagues and I set up the firm 13 years ago, nurtured high quality professionals and built the brand. The firm is now ready for the next phase of its growth. We are keen to add like-minded lawyers to the partnership, both from within the firm and from the wider legal fraternity, who can work with us to craft the next stage of growth. Great organisations have strong leadership and capabilities at all levels. We are doing the same and we will continue to add members to the partnership over time,” said Samuel Mani, Co-Founder and Partner, MCM.

Earlier this year, MCM invited Principal Associate Mehera Radhakrishnan to join the Partnership, underscoring its commitment to building internal leadership pathways and ensuring long-term sustainability.

The addition of Gautamaditya and Aravind brings strong and innovative dispute resolution capabilities to MCM Law, and further strengthens the firm’s well-established general corporate practice. “We are pleased to join forces with MCM Law, a firm that shares our values of integrity and practical business orientation. Our combined expertise allows us to provide clients with comprehensive legal services covering both transactional and dispute resolution matters.” said Aravind Mokkapati.

Samuel Mani credited the firm’s clients for acting as catalysts in this growth journey, driving the development of synergistic practice areas. Clients across sectors including technology, real estate, renewable energy, and biotechnology, in addition to the core technology focus area, are expected to benefit from the enhanced capabilities of the expanded firm.

MCM Law will comprise 6 Partners and 16 lawyers, with an expanded platform to deliver seamless legal services across practice areas.
