Mohana Roy is a Senior Associate at MCM, she has been working with the firm since October 2020. With a focus on early and growth-stage companies, as well as investors and funds, she brings a deep understanding of capital transactions, corporate structuring, and investment strategies.

Mohana has extensive experience advising on private equity and venture capital deals, helping clients navigate the complexities of funding rounds, investment agreements, and exit strategies. She works closely with startups, investors, and funds to structure these deals in a way that aligns with the clients’ strategic goals. She provides comprehensive corporate advisory services, guiding businesses on legal matters relating to corporate governance, compliance, and structuring. Mohana is well-versed in handling M&A deals, offering support throughout the transaction process—from due diligence and deal structuring to negotiations.
In addition to her corporate expertise, Mohana advises clients on labour and employment issues, including employment contracts, workplace policies and compliance with labour laws. Her advice ensures businesses remain compliant with evolving employment regulations. Mohana also specializes in ensuring that companies comply with the regulatory frameworks governing their operations. Prior to joining MCM, Mohana was an associate at a law firm in Bangalore, where she specialized in general corporate advisory, labor and employment law, regulatory compliance, and private equity/venture capital transactions
Mohana holds a B.A.LL. B (Hons.) from Hidayatullah National Law University. In her free time, Mohana enjoys spending quality moments with her dogs, proudly embracing her role as a dog mom.
